About Us
Sixth Avenue Baptist FCU is an independent financial cooperative owned by its members. Sixth Avenue Baptist FCU was chartered in 1963 to help meet the financial needs of the members of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church and their immediate family members.
A major benefit of credit union membership is that unlike commercial banking institutions, whose primary purpose is to earn profits for stockholders, our main objective is serving our member-owners. We are managed by a Board of Directors made up of persons elected from the membership, by the membership. Board members volunteer their time and effort to ensure the highest standard of service possible to our members.
